For our 2nd real Anniversary tea (after I wrongly convinced the carer that it was our anniversary yesterday) we were going to have Braising steak, mash & red cabbage.

But halfway through the day the carer decided he didn't fancy that, so now he's made homemade meatloaf (+1 for the freezer) fondant potatoes and cauliflower cheese. Hurry up & cook tea!

Take away from Mela Lounge, not used them before, fingers crossed.
Never again, Food was late & cold, had no taste, peshwari naan was plain naan, no poppadoms or rieta/ Mango/onion... To top all that off the delivery guy decided to gob halfway across the garden as he delivered it...

Stomach properly churned.... Tea in the bin.

I'm never straying from Narvana again.

I always use Thawa bridge for Indian cuisine.

We always use Narvana, just fancied something different, to our perril.

Is Ayo Gorkhali Thai Or Ghurka? Looking fir recconendations for Thai for the carers birthday next week?

It's Nepalese but they do Indian dishes for the tourists as well.

The Nepalese dishes are really good and offer a different flavour instead of the usual Indian or Chinese food.

Thank you @Thehooperman & @Lucy, I'm really after a Thai as he really loves Thai, I'm not so much of a fan (corrinader hater) but will try, especially as I've conned 2 anniversary meals out of him this week...

The last Thai I had was before the first lockdown and it was at Thai Lanna in Stone. I don't know if they're open at the moment but the food was really good.

I do miss the Royal Bangkok on Mill Street and hope it will open again soon.

Just checked the Thai Lanna website because I really fancy some Thai food soon now and it says they're open Fridays and Saturdays for collection only.
