That's some good news brother. Fingers crossed that that's all.

Vaccination is keeping us out of the queue for intubation. Remember that.

If you are looking for it being something more than that - what could you possibly want for that is more than that?

Do an image search for 'intubation' and look at it.

You don't want that.

Surprise surprise, it's positive for us both, still we seem to have reached the heavy stinking cold stage and no noticable deterioration.....
Hope you have both just reached the worst you are going to get with it , and soon feeling much better.

Fair enough.

Mental illness is sort of funny. In the right light?

Bit worrying here in London seeing no- one sanitising and not being able to attempt to social distance .
Especially as I've been so paranoid beforehand making sure I don't touch handles, rails etc. Then having no option than to hang onto the tube poles and fast moving escalators or risk breaking my neck .
Plenty of sanitiser available in places , just not seen people using it.

All I've been able to do , to attempt falling victim , is use gallons of my own sanitiser as well .
Been just a case of hoping being double jabbed is giving me the best protection possible , taking as many precautions as I'm able to safely do so , and praying for the best.

Afraid just having to go with the flow ... :hmm:

(One thing I noticed on the infection rate stats before we came , the rates in the hotel postcode were only about a quarter of my home postcode area. So fingers crossed...)

Ugh yeah I worried it would be like that in some places. At least if you're sanitising, that should nullify the unavoidable handrail-touching.

As long as you are wearing a mask, transmission through vapour is far more likely than through surfaces.

I went round Sainsburys about 8 o'clock yesterday evening. Out of say, 20 customers in the store, only 2 of us were wearing masks. Felt like one of those weird dreams, where I'm aware of things happening, but unable do owt about it.

I've been lucky in that every time I've been in Sainsburys the majority have been masked but I suspect it's because I go early, around 9am.

I haven't been in Stafford since October, but I was an off-peak shopper long before "all this".

On the western island, I have seen a single adult shopper without a mask, back in October - and he won't be back in there until the requirements and his behaviour are back in sync.

It is not unusual to see school-age children masked in shops here - around a quarter to a third, I would say. 'My' Lidl here actually has a supply of appropriately smaller masks.

If the tactile transmission mode concerns you, then it's worth being careful about touching your own face with your hands.

I walked round coughing. Made a few move away.

I'm interested to know the same figures from Bloodstock, if those are made available.

Had a wee jaunt into Stoke-on-Trent and Hanley on the train today! Barely a mask in sight.
