Our green party (who are big around here) have been driving us mad with constant daily ringing of the doorbell , about 4 pieces of literature a day for weeks pushed through . Personalised letters in what looks like hand written envelopes , which makes me panic wondering who is writing to us.Didn't even get any marketing information through my door this time. Slackers.
Mine was very relaxed , but it seemed very quiet , I didn't know you had special booths to go in. It was a free for all at my one.Got a right little jobsworth at our local poliing station.
Having dodged the various party bods sitting outside demanding peoples name and addresses , which they didn't need to know.......
Walked in with my card , already heading to polling station 2 as on the card.
Way suddenly blocked by an ' I'm a very important official' female.
" STOP! I need to see your card "
"Why?"
"I need to tell you where to go"
"I know where I'm going . To polling station 2 "
"I need to see your card to tell you where to go "
"I know where I'm going , no.2 the middle one "
Shows her my card to stop her blocking my way... checks with me if that is my address.
" You go to polling station 2 , the middle one over there"
This technique has been covered in detail previously.

What polling station did Angela Rayner use?Another cunning stunt to get his fat face in the papers, meanwhile exsoldiers are being refused because the new vetrans I'd card isn't on the list
Didn't she sell it a decade ago? What polling station did Angela Rayner use?
Depends what house she is registered at.
As I understand it, you can choose which of your residences to register at for electoral purposes. MPs may be in a slightly different position, as they have to declare a primary residence, in order to get the 'best' personal outcome from the expenses system. And the five-yearly photo-op of them voting for themselves requires being registered to vote in the constituency where they vote.could all MPs vote in Westminster instead if they chose as they all have second homes funded by the taxpayer there? Or do they have to use their constituency homes as their legal main residence?
