I've just read that wine-guzzling TV chef Keith Floyd popped his clogs last night. Gutted. Always entertaining and one of the main influences on my food obsession!

Been a bad day for it, Patrick Swayze and some boxer also dead and Jim Carroll apparently died last week.

Thats really sad, he was always so enjoyable to watch even if your werent into cooking. At least we will be able to see some of his great TV programms again.

And Also Patrick Swayze, i hated Dirty Dancing but he was talented and judging by interviews, news stories and what others say about him a genuinely nice guy too.

I wonder if we'll see his TV advert again?

Apparently he passed on after a meal of his favourite oysters, having settled down to watch a documentary about himself.

Was a bit surprised that he was only 65, thought he was in his 70's, seems to have been around forever

And agree, a great loss, a great entertainer.
