We get the mini ham n cheese pizzas from asda and crack an egg on them. Can get a bit messy - had one where the egg fell off! For some reason they don't seem to cook as well on large pizzas... Egg is an awesome addition to any pizza! It seems to be quite common in certain places on the continent.
mmm will have to give that a go oneday, do u fry it first or just crack it open onto it and then cook the whole lot?
Just crack it over the pizza... But like I say it doesn't seem to work properly on larger pizzas - it doesn't cook in time, only seems to work for us and our oven if we use the mini pizzas from asda. But the possibility of the egg escaping is much higher...

Might have to try making my own pizza bases with a big lip on to make sure the egg doesn't escape

Do you put the egg on at the same time as putting said pizza in the oven?.......

Salvo's on the Otley Road in Leeds..

If ur ever in the neighbourhood
Never tried that one when I was there...there were far too many take aways to choose from in Leeds, all doing everything under the sun
Very environmentally friendly, but a bit risky in Leeds, I would think..

Yup. cook it all together in one go. The egg sort of bonds with the pizza.
If you fancied egg on pizza but without the risk of the egg not cooking and the pizza burning (as happens when we use a larger pizza - which takes longer to cook and thus confuses us as to why the egg doesn't cook in time) I see no reason why you couldn't fry it or something first then put it on after the pizza has finished cooking. You wont get the "bonding" though of cooking it all at the same time.

My brother is coming for tea tomorrow with his girlfriend. I think I might order a couple of perfect pizzas to feed them with. mmmmmmmm!

We usually go for Perfect Pizza these days. Sometimes TGF , but lately the Perfect Pizza ones have been really lovely.

(I used to prefer the one where TGF is now...can't remember the name, but they used to do banana on the ham & pineapple ones as well)

We only tried Dominoes once a few years ago and didn't enjoy it at all (We did have the really hot one though and ,despite hubby normally devouring really hot curries with no problem,it was just TOO spicy to be enjoyable!). We have thought about trying them again for their Hawaian pizzas but have opted for the Perfect Pizza instead to play safe.
