I got married here. Lovely venue, really friendly staff, great food & would definitely recommend it but budget might be an issue

The crown Hotel in stone is def worth a look, they do an all in one packages and they've got a huge ballroom upstairs with private bar for receptions - they also have a choice of three rooms licienced to hold the ceremony in (they did only have 2 rooms but we wanted to get married in the resturant so they got it licenced for us) we had spot on service from the begining and the manager (Keith?) was great and it wasnt out of the way on the price either - we did have a look at the stone house hotel and the oaks? (i think thats what it's called - on the way to cannock) as well as a few un licenced reception venus - but the crown came up top for us, we had an amazing day and I couldnt fault them for a thing

Thanks for the info - just had a look at their website - which isnt the best for info but looks like a nice place.

it's one one my mum found when we were looking (18 months ago) and I looked at the webiste and decided instantly i hated it - but she made me go and look and I'm so glad I did, the thing with a wedding venue is that when you find the right one you'll know

The Mill in Stone advertising packages in 2011 from £2011
that's a good way of remembering how much they are going to charge in any year lol
not much of an increase in price each year though ;)

Noooo, as you know there isnt really a decision to make. I like the idea of a package as its less to organise, not having the time to organise anything! but having only just started up the business and spent a fortune doing up the shop we are on a strict budget so it may be a quicky at the registry office and a happy meal each afterwards :)
