    Smart meter, switch to daily from half hourly metering.

    I have just had a notice form British Gas to say they will switch me to daily metering from the half hour meter readings they do now. Does anybody know what's behind this, it appears to be a change forced onto BG rather than them choosing to do it ? I have the option to stay on half hour...

    I was up at 6 o'clock opening all the doors to let some cooler air in, it,s just gone past 30 c here at 10:15. A few more clouds today does not look to be holding the temps down much. Plan A, early lunch and then find a shady spot for the deck chair. :)
