Anyone confirm if the bad weather has closed this today?

My green bin wasn't collected yesterday - I presume snow made the road tricky. Is this likely to happen in the thaw? Or is that it until next collection day? Nothing on SBC site.

Sorry - electoral card not ballot paper. Think they are trying to find no show constituents. Then they can rush round to their house and offer lifts/encourage them to vote in the last hours. Seems to happen when it's tight.

Polling Station was much busier this time. Tory candidate parked on seat outside asking to see people's ballot papers. Anyone know why? Most seemed happy to show. I did not.

"They're the only ones who can win" seems to be a good reason to vote for them. Protest votes are not for the marginals.

I think because the polls are neck and neck - and the campaign has been so sterile, the small parties will be squeezed out. i.e. sympathy might be with the small guy, but you wouldn't want to let the nutter in with a squandered vote.
