    Lol I found it now. Will give Burston a try though. There's also a fabulous pub called the Swan at Whiston, near Penkridge. All food homemade. That's one of my favourites

    Eek I just realised I made my first huge boo boo confusing the Greyhound at Sandon with Burston I was referring to Sandon, silly me, but will definitely now try Burston too as love a good steak pie. Those who do may like to try Sandon too.

    Hi just joined here and live eating out and finding new places to try. I discovered the Greyhound a couple of moths ago and have returned several times. The menu is very extensive and staff lovely and friendly. I too champion the steak & Abbot ale pie.....very rich. The carvery is also lovely...
