    Rogue Charity Collectors

Sure your points are fair comment Really. I was just trying to warn everyone to be careful whom they donate to on the Street. Yes they did say first off they were a Charity, then it was a Non Profit making enterprise. The fact that they are giving the impression that they are a Wounded, Homeless...

    Rogue Charity Collectors

Thankyou for all your support and replies. All the information you have posted is correct, what my hubby Pete found. Another contact via FB also found that Chetwynd had another Charity called Wounded Heroes Ltd which was Compulsory Dissolved in 2015. The Present Company was conveniently set up...

    Rogue Charity Collectors

Came across a Stall erected outside Boots yesterday claiming to be a Registered Charity for Injured Servicemen. They had a Placard with a Registered Number on it. Hubby recognised it to be a Company Registration Number not a Charity Registration. A quick Google had it listed as a Business...

    Ex-University

Many thanks for the reassurance Kyoto49. Yes my Granddaughter has visited the Campus, she loved the Vibe and the City. Yes her Law Course is what she is hoping for. As you say the Accommodation is a lot cheaper than down south, and is only an hour on the Train from Stafford.

Good point Gareth, had forgotten about the Thatched Shop, had parked them under Fruit and Veg. Will definitely go in there when I am next in town, cheers.

The Rain came through my Conservatory Roof, just in one corner, was quite a puddle. Never happened before, has been dry for the last 13 Years, shows how heavy the rain was.

    Marks and Spencer

Yes when I was in the Food Hall last Friday morning it was very quiet. The old one, ok only a quarter of the size was packed weekends. Nice to shop in though as you can actually see what is on display.

    Marks and Spencer

Yes the New Store is very smart, just miss the convenience of the old one. Will definitely go Shopping in the New Store. I haven't been in Gaolgate Street since nearly all the Shops shut. Although my Granddaughter works in Sports Direct, she says that is still busy.

Yes that does sound a nice walk Wormella Green Hall under the Bridge and through Riverside. My old route was Park at Sainsbury's, walk through the Guildhall, shop in Savers, Boots etc. Lunch in Marks, back to Sainsbury's for Food and Drink, then home. Whilst in Marks I enjoyed looking round the...
