    Happy Birthday!

For a rush job I think it's okay, but next time I'd appreciate the rest of the fox too. But seriously, wasn't expecting a happy birthday here, thanks @Gramaisc :)

    Wanted Man in a van/trailer

Hey all, We need to move two 1x1x1m pieces of sofa from the top end of Sandon Road (near the car wash) down to opposite the common. No lifting or contact required for COVID reasons, just need to be able to stick the sofa in the back and drive it down the road where we'll take out again. Thanks...

    Improving Stafford's Google Map

After a bit of a fight with the Isabel Trail after it wouldn't let me do any work to it, another mapper helped me out with it and I've recreated the trail from common road that crosses Isabel to Aston Terrace/Field Place. I also noticed there was no connecting trail from Field Place to...

    Improving Stafford's Google Map

Ah, I reckon that'd be because it only treats the Stone road and Aston Terrace intersections as underpasses when there's actually a connection there. I can add that in and see how that works when it's been approved.

    Improving Stafford's Google Map

It is actually there but is part of "National Route NCN 5" as it's part of National Cycle Route 5 and it's a massive route. I think we might be able to add the name to different segments but I can look into it.

    poo bags!

When we lived down Lovatt Street there a was a delightful older lady who would always place her dogs business in poo bags.....and then chuck it in the planters down the center of the street. When autumn came and the bushes lost their leaves it was like looking at the worst Christmad tree ever.

Possible vandalism? Fire at Salvation Army & Crooked Bridge Rd/Gaol Road

Just walked past and the entire of the petrol station is cordoned off with police tape and one of the pumps itself is wrapped in police tape. Looks like there was a fire at the side of the fabric shop as a good chunk of the wall is blackened. The police-tape wrapped pump makes me think the...

Gypsy camp on Sandon Road, Fri 22nd Aug 2014

On the green behind the shell garage, right next to Peter James Court. They were parked up on the path that cuts through there.

Gypsy camp on Sandon Road, Fri 22nd Aug 2014

Exactly, even though the rules may be there, whether they're followed or not is a completely different matter. Hence the same arguments that crop up every time a camp appears.

I could train it to remove unwanted neighbours....I think you're onto something.

Gypsy camp on Sandon Road, Fri 22nd Aug 2014

Greeaaat, right behind my house. Looks like I'm taking everything out the shed. I'm slightly worried they'll just walk through the brook into my garden.

Rogue Snake on the loose (maybe a lost pet?)

I think you might need to see a doctor about that.

Rogue Snake on the loose (maybe a lost pet?)

It ended up being found by next door in their brown bin, understandably, on some compost material. They got something heavy on the lid and called the RSPCA who came and got it but not before putting up a bit of a fight. He thought Japanese Ratsnake but text back later as they thought it might be...

Rogue Snake on the loose (maybe a lost pet?)

He tried to trespass on my property! Clearly casing the joint the second time, waiting for us to leave. When I get back home I'll prepare a box or something if we see him again. Thanks for the link Joshua, I'll keep them in mind if it comes back.

Rogue Snake on the loose (maybe a lost pet?)

This is the last we saw of it: http://i.imgur.com/FeRTSFn.jpg I was thinking of boxing it but there was no clear way while it was in the window. Could have pushed it off the wall I guess into a box I didn't he anything to hand unfortunately.

How'd you think I felt when it was half in my house! We've kept everything shut since yesterday. :P

Rogue Snake on the loose (maybe a lost pet?)

Interesting, I can kinda see where you're coming from....almost. :P To tell the truth, it's difference clouds with an outward blur and a red tint. Each to their own I guess, they're low maintenance and more of a display pet. Some people just like snakes. It was definitely alive, trust me...

Rogue Snake on the loose (maybe a lost pet?)

Ah, that may be a good idea cheers. I've had this avatar probably about a decade now and have come to the conclusion it's the equivalent of an ink blot test. What do you see it as, then I'll tell you what it is. :p
