I retained a reasonable amount of money considering the work that he had done cleaning the block paving. He didn't come back... He's not welcome. As has been said above, if he could do it right, he'd have done it right the first time.

Proactive, Rest assured that SCC are working hard to address the issues you have raised. Some are already addressed. Unfortunately it all takes time, and budgets are being cut year on year...

Most of the appalling paving is round the back, but all visitors to the front door get to see this bit. Initially the block was upside down! Think I might put a wee sign up ;) Still no contact from them. This will of course be the last bit I fix... What is the definition of a cowboy trader?

Anyone else recently had block paving work done, and been left with a mess? Just be aware that it's easy to collect money for cleaning it (it's actually an easy DIY job), but laying it requires a bit more skill and time (though still not that hard). The blocks are not level, not butted up to...
