I think the guy just runs the shop as a hobby these days. I'm sure he's semi retired now. I don't think I've ventured in it in about 20 years.

The Leisure Centre now has no pool , as it's had to be closed on grounds of safety apparently, so basically closed for months. Brilliant.... Probably trying to get the council to pay for the repair if it was an inherited fault when they took over running of the building. Not great.

Pretty much every business on this promotional poster no longer exists.... The posters outlasted the shops ...

There's a new shop opening in the old New Look next to Kenny's , not sure what it is but it's being kitted out.

Well Ernest Jones has also closed down now. Maybe the council are terminating the last tenants so they can crack on with the redevelopment.

Café Loaded , is also changing to a coffee shop rather than a breakfast / diner. As well as selling bric a brac and antiques apparently. Reopens after a mini refurb in a few weeks.

It's a shame really , I preferred popping in for bits and bobs and thought it was a useful addition down that end. Seemed more popular than Wilkos ever was too. It's going to be a difficult building to fill really. It's not really next to any other retail outlets so that might be off putting to...

Has Pandora closed ? Walked past this afternoon and it was shut with bags of rubbish outside, no opening hours or stock in the windows either ?

The place is gonna be demolished and rebuilt by the sound of it , so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Sounds like work will be starting this summer.
