No, I’m in my 20s. 35 year mortgages are relatively new I believe.

Surely it'd do wonders for your mortgage? 10k now is probably 3 years off the end!

I’ll be shocked if I’m still in my first house by the end of my mortgage. I’d rather get more value from the house when I remortgage or sell by improving it.

All that's missing is the sea.

And the fact that the £10k hypothesised on the remember-remember-the-sixth-of-November 2015 was worth c.€15k, and is now - crap in > crap out - worth somewhere in the region of c.€11k.

So... all that's missing is the sea, and €4000.
