Just thought that I'ld bump this - in case anybody is thinking they've missed it - it's on tonight, not the 12th as the title says....

I was going to go until i briefly checked the date on the title and assumed i'd missed it. Now i am sad.

Edit: Is there any way of keeping new post alerts after you have posted elsewhere?

Edit edit: Also what happens when you 'subscribe to this topic'?

I have just returned from having perused this event with Mr Grigson, and very nice it was, too. A good mix of styles, I think.....

I think you get some sort of alert, by email, presumably, whenever there is a post on whatever you have subscribed to...

A very good mix of styles, I would say.

Diamonds & Dynamite was a yoof in a hoodie playing a box with knobs on and a gameboy type thingy. Very impressive indeed, sort of a lone Chemical Brother but without the vocals.

Audiocrime played an impressive largely fast set with a black bobbed female singer who made wish I was 20yrs younger. If they'd played "oh bondage, up yours", I would have been in heaven. Very X-Ray Spex if you remember them but without the brass.

The Portables was their first gig, which if I hadn't been told, I would never had known. A touch of Jonathan Richmond & Modern Lovers meeting the Velvets with their very own soulful Nico. Great Band and will definately watch them next time they play.

All for £3!

And this morning my ears do ring somewhat!

Go to 'Index' - click on 'Show new posts since last visit', in the top right corner, and it will show the new posts, including the one you've just done.

Be sure to click the right line, it is all too easy to hit 'Mark all topics as read' below by mistake and then you have to click 'Show recent posts', down at the bottom left, and work your own way through. If you aim for the left-hand end of the 'Show new posts..' line, then the 'Mark all topics as read' line doesn't extend that far left and there is far less chance of a miss-click.

I hope this makes you slightly less sad...

She did issue an un-veiled threat to the photographer about the potential quality of the photographs, although, looking at what has been posted on the MySpace page, she seems to have come through the process unscathed..

And, hopefully, he will too....
