Does anyone ever worry about where the ingredients for very cheap meals come from and how they were produced?
Margins on restaurant meals are incredibly low so the pressure to find ever cheaper cuts of meat etc must make some restaurants consider using produce that we would not be happy to have in our homes

Or is that the whole point of curries?

I could respond with a long list but am sat in the pub and someone just said a curry house has just shut down in the town...

There was a note in Karma's window yesterday saying that it was closed until further notice due to a burst pipe, I thought it looked a bit closed when I went past last Saturday evening....

There was a note in Karma's window yesterday saying that it was closed until further notice due to a burst pipe, I thought it looked a bit closed when I went past last Saturday evening....

Just in case anyone was thinking of using this voucher... went to Malabar last night and was told that they knew nothing of the promotion and that they "didn't do cobra" (the offer was 2 for 1 curry when you buy a cobra) but that they did 2 for 1 on Sunday night anyway.... all very confusing and I was sure that they did cobra...

Anyway sat down and sure enough they had cobra on the menu.... anyway since they said it was 2 for 1 anyway we happily ate there and as usual had delicious food. Just a shame that the beer is so expensive in there and ends up doubling the cost of the meal :(

Might have to stop going there and do Nishads / Dilshads instead and take my own booze. Shame.

Situation is unchanged. I went past an hour ago and it looks like nothing has happened. It doesn't look good - but you never know,,,

The situation needs monitoring, they may still re-appear. I was going to nip into the barbers and ask them, but I thought that I might spook them..

Also just noticed today on the Malabar Facebook page "Also 2 4 1 Sunday to Thursday Until 18th Nov - Please state you have seen this offer on facebook"

Bet you don't get the offer if you don't mention it....
