Watched this on BBC (Joint production with HBO so bound to be good!) Really enjoyed it,... till the end! What!

If anyone watched it can they enlighten me as to Gary's motive for getting rid of the body? I just didn't get it! I am sure I missed something, any nudges gratefully recieved!

i watched it too. absolutely top drawer.

i ended up on the verge of tears by the end of the first 3 episodes....but by the 4th and 5th i was just on the edge of my seat.

i didnt get his motive either- but i quite liked that, you didnt get the full story...so you got to make it up. my assumption was that the baby was possibly his in some horrible cruel twist and that was why he'd helped at all.

what i really thought was outstanding was the humour. the irreverent, un-pc, rude, and often downright cruel stuff that was said in the mit offices was genius. it was just like my office (although that in itself was quite scary!)
