Wanted 6'x1' or 7'x1' shelf/timber

Just like the title says, I'm after a foot wide shelf or piece of timber 6-7 foot long, ideally about three quarters of an inch thick.
Does anyone have one spare? Or have an idea of where to buy one. I've tried B&Q/Wickes etc but they don't have anything suitable that they are willing to cut to size.
