A TASTE of Italy is coming to a town centre next month.

Stafford Borough Council have brought in an Italian Food Market for a two-day stint during the first week of November.

There will be around 18 stalls selling Italian food from cheeses to sweets and from pasta to bread. All foods on sale are imported from Italy.

The event takes place in the town's Market Square which is already home to the farmers' market.

It is the first time the 'square' has hosted an Italian market. It will run from 9am until 5pm on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7.
18 stalls ain't bad.. i'll hopefully be able to pop along to this and check it out..

I love the idea of foreign markets etc, and they're always good for a look around.

I always find them so expensive though. A market in my eyes should be about getting a good price. It doesn't have to be cheap, just a value that both parties can be happy with.

No idea about an Italian market, but the meat from the normal farmers market is damn nice. Especially the haggis :D
