If you do have a good knowledge of the road, it is dishonest to maintain that the speed of drivers on that stretch is not an issue. My post said, I drive along the road at least twice a day. I drive along the road during the rush hour Monday to Friday and over the weekend. I have also driven along the road when the camera van has been there and when it hasn't. I have also lived within the area for over 30 years, as such I have good knowledge of the road. I have also run, cycled and crossed the road many, many times over the past 30 years.
How about falling ill at the wheel????
I hope your nan makes a good recovery and that your mum is ok x
It's not dishonest if it happens to be true....
It also happens to be true that your assumption that speed resulted in the road collision earlier this week was also wrong.
I wish the two ladies a full and speedy recovery.
Probably not.I bet he feeling pretty damned stupid now though, eh?
I really hope that your Nan and Mum have a speedy recovery. Best wishes to them both.before people start putting things on websites like this people should no the facts first instead of assuming things and pointing the finger at people it was my nan and mum that was in that car and my nan became ill at the wheel due to having a stroke and is critical so all the nasty comments that had been put on here find out the facts first please and to the people that have put nice comments thank u x
Thank you - you beat me to it...FFS
All he said was that he "wouldn't be surprised" if speed was a contributing factor - citing instances that he'd witnessed at that point where speed had almost resulted in accident.
If pretty much anybody else had written the same thing i bet it would have passed without comment. Get a kin grip.
Seconded.Anyway, best wishes to your nan kel-lou.
In 2011 the camera at Moss Pit resulted in 412 tickets for exceeding the 30mph limit. That doesn't include the camera van that is regularly at Barn Bank Lane (and ought to be there more often). It's not dishonest if it happens to be true....

Still think there isn't a speeding problem?
