I am thinking of getting the fire stick because i want Prime, i order a lot from Amazon and i think the delivery savings i would get Prime would pay for itself also the old Top Gear team will be on Prime at some point.

I have prime and the delivery on its own pays for itself (I do get it half price though). The prime video would be a great addition if it worked on roku devices, it does in most other countries, but in the UK they blocked it so you need a fire device

I do have a fire stick, but its only used once a month or so as all my other devices are roku based.

It says on Amazon students can get Prime for 6 months for free and then half price after that, i am not a student but my son and he has a Amazon account i wonder if we could go down that route.

I don't think you can share a student account, but he can certainly order stuff for you. Is he on prime already?

6No there not but they are at Uni so they have a email address Amazon except.

IIRC you can add the student email address to your account to get prime, as long as its not already in use.

You should be able to, pretty sure it supports 2 streams at once.

Apparently amazon added prime video to the roku 2 weeks ago, not home to try but damn happy if they have!
