anyone know her>? she went to blessos, i knew her brother and i remember she was in the local paper because she was the first female ref to get into some division.
she was on page 2 of the observer yesterday, and got mentioned on match of the day 2, cos she gave a decision against luton manager mike newell, and he wasnt happy about it. not sure if it was anti female (it was), or anti stafford.

Footballers aren't the brightest of people and they will try anything to sway a decision. It make's me laugh when players get sent off for swearing at officials as this is all they ever seem to do. Maybe there is some 'secret swear word' only known to footballers and ref's which when spoken results in instant dismissal. Possibly something along the lines of 'twunt'

As for Mike Newell, this man is a proper tool and certainly not the 'full ticket'. He likes the sound of his own voice, especially to cause controversy.

We had a female ref one game last season, and some bright spark thought it'd be a good idea to ask her if it was her time of the month when she gave a decision against him. Clever.

all day today on tv mike newell has been apologising for shouting at a referee. 'they don't normally do that' i thought. i hope he's not just saying sorry because she's a lady. personally, i love going to football games and watching the linesman's bum wiggle as he runs up and down the touchline.

yeah, read about this in the guardian, there was a little picture of her. shit. seen her on tele once reffin. oodof thought, ay. it said in the paper "shes a role model"
