I'm considering getting the 10 year old a phone for crimbo, as the tablet is a bit big for her to carry around all the time. However I don't want to do this unless I can restrict the crap out of it! So really I'm looking for advice from anyone whos has used parental control systems before, what I really want to be able to do is:
I probably need more too, they are just a first thought. A lot can be done from androidlost but its mainly the call blocking I'm interested in.
- Have a white list of phone numbers they can call/text, blocking all others
- Block websites based on content (especially social media)
- Track their whereabouts (already possible I know)
- Shut off all but phone calls after a certain time
