@Carole love, I'm not going to defend the man, all I'm saying is, if people are that bothered, then they should either pick up the phone or get off thier arses and report him to the police when he starts. Nothing will be done till then.
It int like I can go into work and tell someone about his behaviour, it don't work like that.

I just had a vision of you going about Stafford picking odd people up and chucking them in the back of a van. Like the child catcher on Chitty Chiity Bang Bang but for mad people.

There wouldn't be many from this forum left to tell the tale. :o

I had a friend who was more than a bit 'odd' and would get into big arguments. I was never there for any of the serious ones, but he did get banned from Asda and a few other places.

He also told me about an event in a chain restaurant on the edge of town which escalated, he told me, to such a pitch that he had to threaten the other bloke with "I'll have you put in an armchair!".

I suspect he meant 'wheelchair', but I do hope that he really said that...

No I didn't read ALL the other posts, just first one, as quite frankly I do not wish to or neither have the time to go through them all.
You 'must' a saint if you have never said anything similar in jest in your entire life, as I am sure many people have said things like ' I just want to smack him/her around the face' etc, although they never actually would.

Please don't compare me with yourself

Whether or not someone has a mental illness is irrelevant to whether or not anyone who knocks that person of their bike, hits someone or injures them should be in trouble with the law.

I would expect someone who does that to anyone, regardless of their mental state, should get into trouble

His mental illness might trigger behavior likely to instigate a violent reaction, but that doesn't in anyway justify that reaction

It's simple really
He shouldn't be violent towards others. If he is then he needs reporting so he can receive the relevant care, treatment or punishment
Others shouldn't be violent in response. If they are they also need reporting so they too can receive the relevant care, treatment or punishment

Let's clear one thing up

It's never ever simple

We have reported him - because he was being unbelievably stupid and we genuinely thought he would kill himself. The police said they wee well aware of him, have spoken to him but would do again.
He did live in Parkside but I have recently seen him cycling from Rising Brook so I thought he may have moved.

Steve Bhatia, yelling up Greengate Street around 8.15am today, at vans, cars and cyclists, only seems to have 'tourettes' on the bike

not seen or heard the other 'tourettes' cyclist for ages thank heavens! young lad, cycles around Queensville/Radford Bank

I remember him coming in to 0xfam and was dead nice, donated these elephants, not tourettes unless cycling
