Mental health problems don't mean you're not intelligent enough to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree @Trumpet .There are plenty of incredibly intelligent people who are on various forms of medication for mental health issues. SB simply doesn't take his...If you Google him he reckons he'said Steve Bhatia Bsc.
Hadn't seen him for a while, but think it was him on A34 near Stone today, weaving around a complete lane for no obvious reason. Unless he actually wants to be hit by a truck.
I realise that and was just saying like to give some balance to the thread.Mental health problems don't mean you're not intelligent enough to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree @Trumpet .There are plenty of incredibly intelligent people who are on various forms of medication for mental health issues. Yes, he only seems to have tourettes on the bike! otherwise sane, very much like the tourettes queensville lad, who I've seen working in Wilkinson'sI have never had a problem with him. Perhaps it's because I've known him a long time thru work?
Met him while I was in town Thursday with my youngest. He was politeness itself. Not a hint of how he can be while on his bike.
I've followed this tread on and off since it was started and it all seems a little distasteful to me, the fact that this guy has been publicly named and shamed when there is clearly an issue causing his behaviour and it's become a bit of a local entertainment factor just feels a little bit like playground bullying. (To be honest @Admin I personally feel like his name should be removed)
Now I have encountered this guy a few times and it's thoroughly unpleasant and yes I did report one incident because my children were in the car with me and very upset but you can see in his face there is a problem.
If someone has a disability whether physical or mental I believe that there has to be allowance's made. We wouldn't criticise a person with an obvious physical disability riding a bike erratically, we would commend them for not letting their problem hold them back. This with the aggression is just the same but the problem isn't staring us in the face.
Now I'm not saying we all need to put up and shut up as there is an on-going issue that need to be tackled but with that we need to trust in the professionals who have all the facts about this guy's condition and a knowledge any/all reported incidents he's been involved in.
The best thing all of us can do for the bloke is inform the relevant authorities of any/every incident and have a little compassion.
direct his actions at the wrong person who won't be so understanding...
