Hadn't seen him for a while, but think it was him on A34 near Stone today, weaving around a complete lane for no obvious reason. Unless he actually wants to be hit by a truck.

I heard him about 15 minutes ago with his customary "piss off" at the top of his voice.

I've seen him one time do a couple of laps round the holmcroft road/stone road/north avenue lights swearing at the top of his voice because he thought someone had cut him up.

Mental health problems don't mean you're not intelligent enough to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree @Trumpet .There are plenty of incredibly intelligent people who are on various forms of medication for mental health issues. SB simply doesn't take his...
I realise that and was just saying like to give some balance to the thread.

I was in Steve's year at school. I was told he suffered brain damage as a result of a cycling accident while at university so there may not be any medication in his case.

I've followed this tread on and off since it was started and it all seems a little distasteful to me, the fact that this guy has been publicly named and shamed when there is clearly an issue causing his behaviour and it's become a bit of a local entertainment factor just feels a little bit like playground bullying. (To be honest @Admin I personally feel like his name should be removed)

Now I have encountered this guy a few times and it's thoroughly unpleasant and yes I did report one incident because my children were in the car with me and very upset but you can see in his face there is a problem.

If someone has a disability whether physical or mental I believe that there has to be allowance's made. We wouldn't criticise a person with an obvious physical disability riding a bike erratically, we would commend them for not letting their problem hold them back. This with the aggression is just the same but the problem isn't staring us in the face.

Now I'm not saying we all need to put up and shut up as there is an on-going issue that need to be tackled but with that we need to trust in the professionals who have all the facts about this guy's condition and a knowledge any/all reported incidents he's been involved in.

The best thing all of us can do for the bloke is inform the relevant authorities of any/every incident and have a little compassion.

I have never had a problem with him. Perhaps it's because I've known him a long time thru work?
Met him while I was in town Thursday with my youngest. He was politeness itself. Not a hint of how he can be while on his bike.

Yes, he only seems to have tourettes on the bike! otherwise sane, very much like the tourettes queensville lad, who I've seen working in Wilkinson's

His actions are extremely dangerous & he could end up causing a very serious accident!

It is quite frightening when you come across him in action, he is very aggressive & intimidating & is actively looking for trouble.

I for one am very grateful for this thread as I was aware of his behaviour when I came across him trying to cause accidents and was able to react better than I might of; as I had a better understanding of what was going on!

He might be a lovely bloke off his bike but he is very dangerous on it.

Perhaps then the persons named should be those in authority to whom this man's behaviour as been reported, then when a serious incident occurs they can be accountable?

He was at it again this morning, scattering pedestrians and generally being obnoxious. An accident waiting to happen.

He spat at me on Monday when I was walking past on Mill Bank - I got the impression that he wasn't actually deliberately aiming at me, he was just doing it without any regard for the fact that I was already walking past

I think it's fair to say it's a sensitive issue - he clearly has an underlying condition which causes his behaviour, which he has no control over, but equally what he does to other people isn't really acceptable for those on the receiving end. He clearly needs supporting better to stop acting like he does.

I feel the first step would be to stop him riding until he's better able to do it without attacking everybody else on the roads/pavements - sooner or later he's either going to run someone over, or direct his actions at the wrong person who won't be so understanding...

the usual shout of 'dickhead' hurtling down alleyway between sports direct and home bargains! on bike of course, not sure who to though

It may be spreading - I got that from a cyclist yesterday and it was definitely not the usual suspect.
