Animal Related Work Experience

Hello!

My other half's little brother is starting at Rodbaston in September studying animal care!

He's the sweetest lad and really wants to do well!

So hes been looking around for some work experience over the holidays and to continue one or two days in term time!

He's asked around but had no luck!

Can anyone recommend anywhere he could apply?

Obviously it's experience so he's not looking to be paid - the only constraint is it has to be cycling distance from top of Sandon Road/ Aston Fields area!

There are rescue centres at Fletcher's in Eccleshall and Amerton Farm on the Uttoxter Road - they might be accessible by bus..?

There are also various pet shops in the town.

He might get some suggestions by asking in some of the veterinary surgeries.

Shugborough has a small farm and now relies on volunteers - maybe pushing it a bit on the cycle-distance front?
