Yes, I read that.

It sounds like the government would prefer to spend days or weeks getting it discussed fully in the Commons and the Lords as part of an environment bill rather than rushing through something in a couple of hours.

Either way, it seems there's more to it than what's been portrayed in the press, and by those who take note of what they've read there.

ETA If my interest in the McCann case has taught me anything, it's take whatever you read in the press with huge amounts of salt.
