Of course, some people, who have been celebrities in another field, may do genuinely impressive work in a more important field and then be recognised for that - like Baron Rix of Whitehall, in the city of Westminster and of Hornsea in Yorkshire - who did a lot more than drop his trousers - though, he did do that particularly well, too.However, on another subject, I have never really understood why celebrities get Knighthoods.
Its neither here not there, but, they've both only just turned 40 & they've definatly done more for charity & children than your average 40yr old, & quite possibly more than most people do in their whole lifetime.No significant contributions there or evidence of a lifetime's work raising money for charity. Nice try, but won't convince me I'm afraid.
