Wanted ANY CONTACTS IN TV DRAMA

Like JM says you'll need an agent first - and they have to approve your stuff. It's extremely difficult to break into TV without some previous 'form' because of the incredibly high cost of making TV drama. I also think that the proliferation of TV channels / internet etc has made this even harder. Have you ever thought about Radio 4 ? They have various drama 'slots' and it's so much cheaper to make radio drama - and because of this radio can take more chances with material that is quirky / original.

Radio 3 is even more daring in what it will put on, they know that almost nobody is listening - I have heard some marvellous stuff on there, though they may be less open to new writers than Radio 4 is. The World Service used to have frequent "new writers" competitions, maybe they still do?.

And, always remember, the pictures are better on the radio.
