I found going to the supermarket in the morning is more fruitful, ask in the evening and they've already put the boxes into bales.

I bow to your knowledge of supermarkets, particularly the non-food items.

School kitchens (especially high schools) have loads of boxes as well. When I worked there we had quite a few of them several times a week and they just got slung into the normal rubbish bins.

I used to work at a supermarket and if you'd come in/ring up and asked we'd save as many boxes for you as you'd like.. mainly as the baler was a nightmare to use

If you can get to St.Georges, the kitchen there always has a load of boxes. Can't promise you a warm reception, and please don't mention who sent you! They just sling them in the bins, don't even bother breaking them down.

I have absolutley loads only having moved three weeks ago! They're heavy duty cus they're oil boxes, did us fairly well! :D They're been outside since we moved so I don't know how much use they will be but when I went out the weekend in to the shed, they seemed perfectly fine, just the shed is an open shed with a falling apart roof. If you can get them, you're welcome to have them :) There is quite a few, too :)

I don't know how good they'll be now seeing as it has rained, they don't seem too bad but I've not investigated them really. I do have some still inside that I've not flattened yet though too :)

I only just saw this, it would have been but today is now.. tomorrow so no sorry, tomorrow (friday) would be fine though. Actually, I've put them all outside now I suppose it doesn't really matter if we're not in as anyone can just take them from the garden.. lol

Okies thanks both of you, I'll see how my time goes tomorrow. Manorboy, is there a particular time or day we could come by?
Trapnest i'll definately be by at some point tomorrow, as long as the hospital doesn't keep me, which is highly unlikely really.
