Oh, not black flying V's - I meant Uke's in general. See how you might have got confused.

No, I got Pete's in Liverpool, cost £30. Not seen them cheaper.

Sorry to get your hopes up.

There was a music shop just off Dale Street (opposite a lovely pub called Rigby's). I think we've seen them since in a few places - Stoke's music shops and Wolverhampton's.

It's very shiny.

Sofa, you still prepared to give lessons?
I am, but not for a while, I'm afraid as I am a bit busy with my new job. I recommend just buying a uke and having a go - I taught myself from stuff out the internet, it does not take long to grasp when you are a competent guitarist, as I know you certainly are, Wooks.

Hey! your in luck!!!

I have one that i had bought for me as an Xmas gift a year or so ago...i got into it but i play guitar and it was fun to play but i dont play it much.

Its a Stagg Uke, in C# i think, all i know is that the tuning of it is the Standard tuning for most ukuleles but yeh...

If you want it, you can have it, its got a "gig" bag and i can and will supply a plec too, say £25?

Its in great condition as well, ive actually got a couple pics of it too, as i was gonna sell it online to a collector.

If that was directed at me (as i suspect it was), i got one eventually. it needs some (a lot) of work doing to it though. the bridge needs completely re-fitting. as soon as i can blag a Dremmel from somewhere, i'll get it done.
