Anyone know a very cheap source for timber??

I need to source a VERY cheap regular timber supply (mainly feather edge like used for sheds)

Please don't say Wickes, B&Q etc. I know the stuff can be bought at a third of their prices from sawmills etc but just don't know of anywhere. I've heard a rumour of something existing out Hednesford way if anyone knows where it might be?

Any suggestions?

I did try googling sawmills / wood yards but didn't have much luck locally - and as I would need regular supplies I don't ideally want to travel too far (say 10 mile radius is ok)

I will certainly check out Sandon Sawmill thanks Gramaisc. I also found one out seighford way called B K N Timber Products which I need to try contacting too.

If anyone knows of others please still let me know as I'd rather research them all before starting to purchase.

Locally, I find Huws & Gray (builders merchants) on Beaconside are much cheaper for timber than the diy ‘barns’ - and free delivery over £50.
