Looking for someone that has a diamond cutter and can do me a whole through the brick wall for our tumble dryer venting kit. Can fit the kit myself, just looking for someone to cut the whole.

Please PM me a price and phone number if so

Thanks

You don't need a core drill. Buy some of the plastic ducting and draw round it, drill regular holes every few cm around the outside and then use a brick bolster type chisel to remove the plug.
Its a bit for fun when you have a double layer of brick, but no big deal.

I've done it that way for a six-inch flue through a concrete block wall. Doable, as long as the ragged edges can be cosmetically covered - or just hidden. It's useful to be sure that the drill holes are all level, or at least parallel.

Ended up talking the kitchen fitter into sourcing one from a friend of his and doing it for me at the tip price of £20. Can't grumble!

There's a chap in London that can do neat core-drilling - no unnecessary disturbance, either - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-32414531 ...
