So you aren't going to argue the fact that you're the drunk one?You didn't drink enough before the run, or you wouldn't remember scraping you knees!

I didn't scrape my knees....So you aren't going to argue the fact that you're the drunk one?
Had all week but due to various excuses only got round to doing it today!
Ended up doing day 1&2 runs - must be fitter than I thought!
Friends joining me haven't been much motivation - ones a drunk and the other fell over on the first run and scraped her knees!
In all seriousness, son & daughter in law are both doing this & love it, the eldest & his oh are seasoned runners already. It is designed for anyone to start, so yeah you may be above the initial few weeks. If you find yourself outpacing the program you can still keep it on for motivation, thats what I did. End of week 3 I decided to just run, ignored what Jo Whiley was telling me to do but kept the voice there for encouragement.
What she said ^^^ xxI couldn't run for a bus, scraped knees & drunk or not.
Good on you all x
How are you getting on?
Glad I've helped! Does he get some nice shoes too? You've also inspired the husband!
He can already run 5k in about 40mins - when I told him your time of 20mins he's determined to pick up the pace a bit!

Once I realised I actually enjoyed running I invested in proper trainers, better clothing, even lights for running at night (in winter it's difficult to work full time and run in daylight). Sod rewards, this free activity cost me a fortune! At this rate I'm going to be super fit and super broke!
The one that fell over, and the one that was drunk? My day off tomorrow, I shall look at the yoga moves.... Can't be any worse than what the physio sends me via email...On week 4 now!
Thought it took a massive leap going to 5mins run today but I did it!
The two friends I roped in gave up after week one - I am THAT person still posting my runs in the WhatsApp group to annoy them!!

Glad you're sticking with it!
I used to do my best runs after a heavy night out, very strange! Virtually stopped drinking since lockdown though and improved dramatically so there could be a link there I suppose.
So, how you getting on?
