"Assorted Records is a Staffordshire based record label assisting local bands in their pursuit of making it in the music industry running as a digital record label, it provides artist services to the acts signed to it, including event organisation, record production and distribution as well as promotional campaigns for each of the artists.

Initially set up in 2009 as part of a university dissertation project entitled ‘What is the future for Physical Record Labels in an Increasingly Digitalised Era?’ and working with local bands from within the Staffordshire area, helping them with everything from recording to distribution.

More recently in the record labels existence its two owners Peter Roch and Jonathan Demain have received help and funding from the Princes Trust, after completing their 'Explore Enterprise Course'. This has given the label the initial boost it needs in order to become a successful platform for all its artists now and in the future."

I saw that old firebrand Frank Duffy(snr) in the square earlier dressed in a gestapo trenchcoat and armed with a tray of Mr Sizzle's finest he seemed to be in conversation with a pigeon and they say that Variety is finished!!......
