Take them with you! And, when they get tired, you can put a couple of chairs together and have a makeshift bed for them. Used do that with ours all the time, it doesn't hurt them once in a while.

Do any of your kids go to nursery? It might be worth an ask there if they do, a few of the girls the nursery my kids used to go to did babysitting on the side or possibly ring round a few anyway, they are generally qualified in childcare, CRB checked and first aid trained.

They'll be on hand to look after the bairns, then?

Unless you want to pretend you don't have them?

    What's the problem here?

This is the kind of dilemma I can see both sides of. Usually I'd be on the side of making them a part of your big day no matter what, but when I got married the second time around I had a 3 year old step daughter that was between us on almost every picture..... including the signing of the marriage certficate! I look back now and can honestly say I wouldn't have had it any other way - but at the time it caused us a lot of stress.

By the way........ I hire out a selfie-pod (open photo booth) at very reasonable prices if you don't have one booked yet ;) more info

It's a tricky one, and where you're getting married might come into it too - I know the bar we had our reception in was strictly over 18's from 8pm - including babies etc.

Is there anyone you trust with kids who are coming with kids, who you could pack yours off with when they have to take theirs home - and the collect them the next day.

As lovely as some children are, when they are very young, they can be very distracting to a wedding.

Some couples like kids at a wedding, others don't like kids at a wedding.

    It's a personal choice.

@dollygirl1302 leave it with me, I might know someone that knows someone (qualified).

I'm not promising anything, but what are the dates?
