Tonight's haul from Too Good To Go via Costa on Beaconside (All of it for £3).... Toastie anyone?View attachment 10521

You got that much in one bag!?

Best we’ve managed is 3 toasties and a bap. We’ve had like 9 Beanz and Cheese toasties now and have stopped buying from them because it’s all we get…

Don’t bother with Mr Simms by the way, got a small box of fudge supposedly worth £5, an Easter bunny and crappy eggs, some dark chocolate, a tube of refreshers and some vegan gummy bears. Debatable as to whether it was worth the advertised £15 value, pretty sure I could have picked up better quality stuff in Lidl or Aldi for a fiver tbh.

Nero is still the best place on Too Good To Go by far, got all sorts of baked goods the other day

Well of course, why would anyone think otherwise?

Those in the know understand that Aldi and Lidl Chocolates and biscuits are absolutely gorgeous.

I don’t understand why anyone would go anywhere else for their sweet treats really.

The only disappointment is they don't sell Fruit n Nut or Old Jamaica.

Yes Nero is better as a standard however we've never had as much as we did tonight. I only noticed it at 7.20pm and they were for collection up to 8.30... Must have had shed loads as there were 3 for sale when I got ours.

Freezer is full now lol

Stocked up on birthday cards in The Card Factory . Got to the till and was invited to help myself to up to 3 boxes of chocolates from the special display stand for free.:D

(Of course I got 3 of the biggest ones )

Asked if they were closing and was told " no , just getting rid of end of lines to make more room " ..... :hmm:

Took a punt at Katharine House yesterday. They had a Sony Bravia 55inch 4K Smart TV for £250...after we bought it, got it home and realised how massive it is (a big change from a 40inch) it's looking good so far. We've got 14 days in case we change our mind....

#fingerscrossed

Edit - I forgot to add that the unit is by far from flawless. There is at least one dead pixel, one very small dead spot on the screen
and a very slight scratch. That said unless you are right in from of the this you wouldn't notice.

Will these be the SCART leads of tomorrow? I know that I have at least three and I've never had a device with a SCART socket..?

Doubt it, considering it’s the standard for basically everything now and is fairly future proof by way of version increments

The main issue is the average person doesn’t understand the versioning as it’s complicated, you have to know to look for a 4K HDR10 capable cable to get the most out of your content
