Looking for dog poo bags in ASDA found them at £1 for 40 bags. Disposable nappy bags are .35p for 300 bags, bargain!
Brings me to the perpetual joke in our house when taking the dog for a walk:
ME "just taking the dog out"
Mrs T "have you got sh*tbags?"
Me "yes, she's here on the end of the lead"

Liked this twice. Once for the fact that you take home the poop. Second time for the crappy joke!

Just found some flavour pearls in Sainsburys, down from £4.99 to 30p. When I scanned them it turned out they were also BOGOF, so can't complain. They had soy sauce, balsamic vinegar and vinegar and shallot ones. Reduced bit at the back of the store, near the coffee.

Not that I do salad as such, but I can imagine they'd be quite tasty. BBE date was 2 weeks on some and october on others, if you're into that sort of thing.

Lots and lots of sauces and pastes - Curry/Thai/Chilli/Italian/ Coq au Van (aka love in a lorry) all reduced down in Sainsbury from 28p - 50pish, and wrap kits about 85p....can't see why as they're long dated.

I know I must seem obsessed, but Aubergines are on offer again in Lidl, at a bargain 39p each!

Fishy wishy wishy can't you see, you belong in my tummy...

I don't know if its a mistake, but Tesco have boxes of Birdseye Haddock fillets with Lemon & Parsley in the frozen isle for £1.00 per box. (Usually £4.00 per box!)

There are two fillets per box, you cook them in their wrapper in the oven or microwave and they are jolly tasty.

I've been v greedy & bought 7 boxes today, but there were a good 10 boxes left :)

We were in a hotel down Reading Friday & Saturday nights. We had two rooms Friday & one room Saturday. Had no cold water in any of the rooms so they offered us a full refund. When they did the chargeback on the card we found they'd given us £10.00 too much. Bargain.

I've been buying things via Topcashback = Free money

I've traded some Topcashback money to Tesco clubcard points.

I've doubled up £30 of clubcard points to £60 clothing vouchers.

I've just bought my daughter's swimming bag and swimming costume, P.E shirts, joggers and shorts, school bag, pumps, trainers, school shoes, x6 shirts,x2 trousers, x2 skirts, socks and tights all for a grand total of ...............

.................. £2.62 in actual cash!

I still need to purchase the school tie, cardigan and sweatshirt and for some ridiculous reason the sole supplier of these items is almost 20 miles away and in an entirely different county.

Bought a large 25kg bag of Wilja potatoes for £5.95 from the Bednall farm shop on the A34. Must have been a much better growing season as that price is at least £3 cheaper than last year and the spuds are much bigger.
