Bassist Needed for Hard Rock/Metal Band

Hi Guys and Gals,
I'm in a 3 piece rockin' band looking for a bassist to fill in the blanks so we can do gigs. Have been gig ready for some months now but haven't been able to find a bassist to replace the last one who left to work down south.

Have a number of originals and covers which include Pantera, Slipknot, Guns n' Roses, Killswitch Engage, Papa Roach, Offspring, etc.

Current line up is vox, drums and guitar (we're aged between 25 and 34). Practice once a week for 2 hrs.

Very ruff demo's could be made available to the interested.

In it for sh1ts n' giggles really and pretty open minded about ability, age, etc.

If yer interested or know someone that maybe interested please let me know. If you e-mail me please put sommat about bass as the subject so I don't delete as spam ;)

cheers,
Phil

I can't play bass and I don't have one but if someone can teach me and has one I can borrow I reckon I can pick it up fairly quickly.

Could be a challenge haha,
I'll have a chat with the lads and see what they think and what we can cobble together. Not sure how much time I've got available to teach yer but we can always give it a bash and see what happens I reckon.

Tell us a little about yerself then sonny? Influences, age, credit card no, etc...(feel free to PM me mate:),

Cheers,
Phil

Huh? <scratches head as the wonders of the internet community once again escapes him>
Maybe have a root around at some of the older LS posts, especially the legendary spats with Shoes.........

I don't do credit cards, I'm 19 with 5 years experience and influenced by lots of things but mostly things other than drugs.

I like Papa Roach, Offspring, Guns 'n' Roses are okay, quite like Slipknot but only heard a couple of their songs, I've heard of the others but haven't listened to enough of their music to make a judgement. My taste in music is wide and varied, but mostly rock - I tend to lean more towards the industrial/synth sound.

Good stuff, ta for the info (as for industrial I like NIN meself and a big fan of Fear Factory - well the good albums anyway). One question though, 5 years experience of what mate?
