FEEDBACK FROM WEEPING CROSS SURGERY
The practice is constantly reviewing its procedure and some changes have been implanted following various feedback received.
The rolling out of appointments has changed. The only ones that are not booked in advance are those reserved from immediate, same day care. This should enable patients to be able to book routine appointments without having to keep phoning back.
The surgery had been keeping hold of some same day appointments in case patients turned up not knowing that the walk-in clinic had ceased. This is not so necessary now as very few patients actually just turned up.
The number of online appointments for patients wishing to see the Advanced Nurse Practitioners has been increased.
There is ongoing guidance being made available for reception staff in order for them to be able to signpost patients to the correct clinician.
If anybody is interested in joining the local Patient Participation Group which covers the Weeping Cross, John Amery Drive and Beaconsfield Surgeries, please email Liz Ashfield at 3ppgsecretary@gmail.com

Proposed Gladman Housing Development – Cannock Road – Planning Application 17/00505/OUT

At the public meeting this evening, the above planning application which has been made to South Staffordshire Council was discussed. If you wish to object to the application, it is necessary to do so by next Tuesday, 27th June. Objections should be made on the grounds of material planning considerations, as set out in the attached images. Some of those material planning considerations can include:

  • Highways – traffic generation, vehicle access, highway safety, environmental impact
  • Infrastructure – drainage and sewerage, nature conservation, biodiversity
  • Social capacity – lack of school places, lack of available health facilities

If you wish to write to the Council to object, their address is: South Staffs Council, Wolverhampton Road, Codsall, South Staffordshire, WV81PX.

To object online, the South Staffordshire Council planning portal is: http://www2.sstaffs.gov.uk:81/onlin...iveTab=neighbourComments&keyVal=OQUZNWOXG2Y00

Is that the one next to the site that was included in the top (insert number here) toxic locations in the UK, listed in The Observer sometime in the 80's?

Or is it some other development?

I have of late - but wherefore i know not - lost all my ire...
