Checking that this is still the case.Have the Co-op said if they intend the car park to be public or are they going to do an ASDA?
Opposite the Saltings: Gospel Hall https://baswichcommunitygroup.wordpress.com/planning-apps/gospel-hall/I assumed the Pub owners would have owned the car park. I didn't realise that was the deal with it.
Which patch of land on Baswich Lane do you mean?

I'm informed:Re: the ex-Crossbow car park ...
Does anyone else remember there being a square plaque on the wall between the ex-Crossbow car park and St Anne's church, saying something about public access to the car park, something about a 1932 act? That plaque isn't there now.
I'm informed:
"There used to be a standard cast plaque on the low level wall white background black letters, can't remember the exact words but it indicated that the car park was for public use, I assume SBC had it done years ago".
See our post here:Yes that sounds about right. It said something about an act. I don't know if it's continued existence would have stopped the Co-op imposing a two-hour limit.
I guess that's up to the Coop, assuming they wish to enforce any time period.I no longer live round there, but two hours seems reasonable to me. Who will enforce it and in what manner?
Maybe not for some ladies getting haircut.I no longer live round there, but two hours seems reasonable to me. Who will enforce it and in what manner?
For that sort of money, I would want a fortnight, full-board, in somewhere quite exotic. My wife spends longer than two hours in the Francesco salon sometimes.
