did you not find that this album was a bit "samey" all the way through? like pendulum's LPs, each tune is a banger and stands up on its own, but trying to listen to a whole album of it, i just end up getting bored pretty quickly.. not a bad album at all, but wouldn't make it into the "best of..." for me..shoes said:Sub Focus - Sub Focus

Nice selection. I have the Grizzly Bear and Animal Collective albums. Am liking The Field, especially the Cocteau Twins Lorelei sample.Monquey said:This, plus:John Marwood said:My Maudlin Career by Camera Obscura
Veckatimest - Grizzly Bear
The Hazards of Love - The Decemberists
Hospice - The Antlers
Bromst - Dan Deacon
The Life of the World to Come - The Mountain Goats
No One's First and Your Next - Modest Mouse (EP but who cares)
Merriweather Post Pavilion - The Animal Collective
Crack the Skye - Mastodon
Yesterday and Today - The Field
Plus loads loads more. It's been a flipping great year for music. Saw most of these last year, seeing Grizzly Bear and The Antlers in 2010.
Unfortunately not. There were rumours that they were going to do a one off reunion set at the Coachella festival but Liz Fraser pulled out at the last minute. Iceblinkunluckily they split up before I started listening to them. I would pay a lot of money to see a reunion gig. I also missed Robin Guthrie at the Liverpool Sound City weekend last year.John Marwood said:OOh are the cocteau twins back together?....
I saw them at the Hummingbird one time, ruddy marvelous
