Bins!

Once the first person leaves stuff outside the bins, it "justifies" others doing it.

Some may remember Stafford's famed Litter Vortex, outside the Argos store - that doesn't occur now simply because there isn't a bin there at all...

How can anybody think that it is fine to leave their rubbish by the side? If the 'bins' are full, then take your stuff to the tip. It's been open this week.

No car?
Disability?

One has to suspect that very little of that pile arrived via non-motorised means.
After seeing your post I re-read the thread. I thought it was about wheelie bins outside your own home rather than elsewhere.

If it's dumped outside the bins at a recycling point then it isn't the right thing to do.

It wasn't only recycling stuff that was dumped outside the bins at Wildwood. When we walked past the other day there was loads of other rubbish dumped there as well.

Bins again!

In Weeping Cross / Baswich, the blue and brown bins will be collected this Saturday (tomorrow) rather than Monday, and I expect that anyone else due a collection on bank holiday Monday will have a similar adjustment.

Glass recycling bins are not handled by dustmen. They are sealed containers which are taken directly to recycling facilities. They are not emptied by hand, because of the risk of glass. I realise that your mouth is far bigger than your brain, but please do some research before making wild accusations.
It's a shame I found this resurrected thread ( see what I did there? It is Easter after all) as I had been warming to you. Do you really live in Stafford Borough? My recycling bin isn't sealed, it's a blue bin with a hinged lid. While I try to carefully put my bottles in the bin intact does ANY fecker really expect them to be tipped into a crusher without them getting damaged. You must have a really motivated refuse collecting team in your neighbourhood.
