Twas quite deep too, had to merge into centre lane to avoid!wizzard said:Foregate street was opposite Hi Q was also flooding earlier.
A considerable number of steps have been taken over the last thirty years - and it has reduced quite a bit in intensity and frequency of flooding. It may be that the conduit from Crooked Bridge Road, at the corner of the prison, running through St George's grounds, is still a bottle-neck.
