Why not head down to Stafford Rugby Club on Saturday evening for their Annual Bonfire Night Celebration...

Gates open at 6pm
Fire lit at 7pm
Fireworks at 8pm

Adults £5 (unaccompanied under 16's)
Family £10 (2 adults, 2 kids)

It's going to be another great night at The County Ground....

"In light of the fire at SP Fireworks in Stafford in which two people are missing and two people are in hospital, the directors of Stafford RUFC Ltd have decided to cancel Stafford Rugby Club’s Annual Bonfire and Firework display on Saturday 1st November, 2014.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this causes to those who were planning to attend and support the event. We are hope all will understand the reason for this decision.

Our thoughts are with all those associated with SP Fireworks especially the families and friends of those who are missing.

Thanks to all who shared the information on the event. Please inform your friends that the event will not not take place."

I also hear Stafford town football club have had to cancel as the display was being organised by SP (don't quote me on this) . The cricket clubs display on Sunday is still on as far as I know.
