The screen doesn't work, think it's a loose connection or the backlight... Have connected it via VGA to an external monitor and it works (or did last time I used it) fine.

Highly likely to need a new screen, which unfortunately would bump up the cost and reduce the potential profit. Being an old advent 4211 I'd only aim to sell it for £60 - £70 working, and the screen would be £39.
I'd take it off your hands, but could only give you £15 I'm afraid if I did
