Anyone else going to the opening night on the 17th? I'll be down there.

Is it just the night? Was gonna nip in for lunch.
I say night because that's what time I'll be going down, I would assume it would be open from 11?
Have they kept the outside bar or has that all gone?
They would be daft to get rid of it.
Open again today, but ticket only still.
I've missed this - where abouts is it?
Ditto ... what's all this then?
Previously Apres, opp. Specsavers / where Woolies used to be (Sports Direct now)
OK I may have just been murked but Admin did recommend somebody start a new thread
It's been kept - although it wasn't open when I went, but have been informed it has been stocked up
Any sign of Freedom Four on tap?
Freedom four is on tap, I had one today
The Picture House has a sign up saying that the heating's knackered - a cynical ploy to get people to try the new place?..
Walked past earlier on the way to the Post Office and it was packed - and is looking good.
Wouldn't have thought so, they have ongoing issues with the heating in there, especially when they actually need to use it. Shudder to think how many pints of Ruddles it takes to keep that place warm 8AM to midnight during the winter.
Was there for the opening today. It's really nice inside and well thought out, they've been doing their history homework on the building and incorporated it into the interior design nicely. Going for a pint there tonight
Prices are good too!
Does it say what the building used to be? We were discussing this in Joxers the other night.
I'm fairly certain it used to be the old blacksmiths/forge, which actually made the big old butler bells.
Packed when I walked past at 3.30pm. Not so many in an hour later but sure looked inviting!
