Richard is a former chef at The Lewis Partnership, he joined us from Birmingham College of Food, did a three year apprenticeship with us, entered the Young Chef of The Year competition came fourth, received a nice letter from our local MP. As with other of our chefs we organised a stage (work experience) for him in Birmingham, he impressed Glynn Purnell so much that he offered him a job, the rest is now history as they say, with Richard now working at Purnell's.
It's great to be able to celebrate this level of success & know that as a company we can act as a stepping stone for young people.
