the food was sometimes a bit hit and miss, but on the whole, it was pretty ok.

i think the difference is that boys arent that fussed about the food part and are quite happy to just go with the booze, whereas girls prefer to drink, gossip and have chocolate cake for afters for that fullly rounded girls night out.

no, i was specifically talking about the food.. blokes do care about the food, they just want more sensible meals lol..

pastiche feels like it's trying to be something it's not - serving "posh" food but it's actually crap lol..

just my opinion, of course.. as i say, birds seem to love it..

I'm in with Dirtybobby on the quality, quite crap at best, but dress it up to look like the dog's b******s, which might be there downfall.
But as Cookie said only place for girly chat over choc cake and reasonably cheap bottle of plonk.

I don't think it's shit, but it is inconsistent. Sometimes it's nice, sometimes it's rubbish.

Overall not bad for a tenner. Having said that, whenever Anders Panders wants to go I normally say something like, 'Nah, let's go for a curry'. You know you're going to get a proper meal down Nishad's.

Don't tell the blokes at the Firesation we had our watch Xmas meal there 13 months ago, and they seemed to quite like it!

Look out for a fire engine cruising round tesco car park looking for a space that you don't have to reverse into, sporting pink fluffy dice, flowers on the dash, a selection of fluffy toys on the parcel shelf*, and a "My Boss bought in something that could do the work of 10 men the other day ..... a Woman!" sticker.

Just a jest, I'm not a complete mysoginist honest! But I do really think Pastiche is mostly allright.

While on the subject, I know I should really stick this on the rant page, but for a town of its size Stafford has got to have the worst selection of restaurants this side of Belorussia. (What never been to Belorussia, well they are awful!) I'm with you on that one Cookie
