I had made a booking for a christmas party at Chambers and made a deposit in Oct and looking at previous comments from owners they stated ther were contacting people to arrange refund , I am still waiting, does anyone know how to get in touch with the owners ??????

I suspect that you have chosen your username based on this single enquiry, which may result in some interesting questions about where it came from from other Forumites a few years down the line! That's assuming you stick around and join in the discussions, which I hope you will.

Hi Refund

I also made a booking, and paid my deposit the day before Chambers closed. I'm also still awaiting a call to arrange a refund. I do feel as though we should give them the benefit of the doubt and trust that they will be true to word and contact us.......but as the days go by I am beginning to feel less and less confident.

I commented on the chewing gum only last night, as we passed by. It really is worth going to have a look at it.

It is truly spectacular, almost as good as the Litter Vortex in front of the old Argos, at the back of Sport Direct.

innit.. as i'm sure many people have noticed, i almost never use capital letters in my posts.. i just prefer the way lower-case characters look!

plus, as a geek, i'm used to things being case-sensitive, so am in the habit of keeping everything in lower-case

I have spoken to one person i know made a deposit and he has had a call off of one of the owners and has this week recieved a personal cheque for the full amount back.Hope you will let us all know if the same happens for you.
